In this first follow-up to Best Practices in Transition Planning: Educators New to Transition, we will focus on how to build self-advocacy in your students. We will give a tour of the Wisconsin Suite of Self Advocacy Resources and dive further into further exploration of the WI Self Directed Transition Planning: Lesson Plans as well as the WiTransition App. These resources all promote positive and active student engagement in the PTP process, which is an evidence based predictor of post school outcome success.
