The goal of the “Kick Off” is to provide district staff with a deeper understanding of the TRG requirements. This professional development will provide an overview of the Transition Readiness Grant requirements. Participants will learn how to track their activities and submit their invoices, ability to coach their team through a Transition Improvement Plan to assist in incorporating evidence-based transition practices, utilize the Transition Services Rating Scale with students, coordinate and host a community/employer event, and conduct post school outcomes surveys for your districts. This training will also provide opportunity to network with other TRG Districts.
